Interval training is a hot topic because so many boomers are becoming more and more active and fit (due to virtual fitness offerings) BUT keeping in mind the issues and modifications/adaptations needed for the shoulders, knee, hips, etc. – there is still a need to challenge members but be gentle. So, lots of education around the chronic conditions that are seen among the population but then, how do you challenge them!? Yep, interval training! Participants in this workshop will discover the benefits and best practices of using interval training in an older adult population.
