This live webinar presents the role of physical activity and exercise to maintain brain health into older adulthood and to mitigate the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

Course Topics:

  • Basic pathophysiology, epidemiology, risk factors, stages of cognitive decline, and signs of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia,
  • The role of physical activity and cardiorespiratory fitness to preserve brain health,
  • Exercise programming guidelines and recommendations to enhance brain health and mitigate dementia.

 

Equipment Requirements

Participants must have access to a device capable of connecting to a Zoom conference meeting.
