Effective cueing is important not only to ensure proper form and alignment, but also to create an atmosphere within a class. In yoga, the use of language is especially important, and sometimes creates a challenge for instructors used to cueing higher intensity classes. This workshop will discuss the importance of effective cueing, the use of action and descriptive verbiage, and how to create different atmospheres and mindsets within a class.
Yoga Cueing is NOT a part of the NETA 200 Hour Yoga Program curriculum, and may only be used for continuing education credits.
Participants in this workshop will need access to a device capable of connecting to a Zoom meeting, including a functional webcam and mic.
*Virtual workshops are held in Central Time Zone.
