Yoga For Special Populations Specialty Certification
Nov 158:00 AM—6:00 PM$199
Yoga is for everybody! With NETA’s Yoga for Special Populations Workshop, instructors will take an in-depth look at creating an open environment, teaching to students with special needs, and learn ways to help every individual meet their goal in a group setting through a coaching approach. Explore pose adaptations, specialty class themes, and learn ways to make every individual feel comfortable in your class environment.
*Yoga for Special Populations can be taken as a stand-alone certification to teach yoga classes and/or can be taken as you work toward the advanced 200 Hour Yoga Program approved by Yoga Alliance.
**In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Yoga Alliance has temporarily approved remote instruction as an acceptable form of contact hours from Registered Yoga Schools (RYSs). Please visit https://www.yogaalliance.org/Get_Involved/COVID-19_Resources for more information regarding this temporary provision.
Participants in the Yoga for Special Populations Online Workshop must have access to a device capable of connecting to a Zoom conference meeting, to include webcam capabilities. Adequate space to participate in a master class and pose clinic is necessary (roughly the size of a standard yoga mat).
*Virtual workshops are held in Central Daylight Time (CDT)
