The Long Exhale: Breath, Mobility, and Nervous System
Feb 211:00 PM—2:00 PM
$29.00Fitness professionals often focus on strength, cardiovascular conditioning, and performance while overlooking one of the most important foundations of sustainable movement: the nervous system. In this practical and experiential session, participants will explore how intentional breathing, mobility work, and slower movement can be incorporated into traditional fitness programming to help clients transition from constant tension and overactivation into a more regulated state. Attendees will learn simple breath practices, mobility techniques, and recovery-based movement strategies that can be used before, during, or after exercise. The session will also explore how fitness professionals can recognize when a client may benefit from slowing down rather than continually adding intensity. This presentation is designed to give trainers and fitness professionals accessible tools they can immediately integrate into sessions while remaining within their professional scope of practice.
