Advanced Kettlebell Specialty Certification
Mastered the basics of kettlebells? This course will take your instruction to the next level! The Advanced Kettlebell Specialty Certification is designed for instructors and trainers who have a basic understanding of the kettlebell swing, clean, and snatch. Participants will learn the science of kettlebells, discovering how the concepts of momentum, centrifugal force, and angular momentum make this dynamic piece of equipment uniquely functional.
The Advanced Kettlebell Specialty Certification workshop will provide participants with the knowledge to identify movement errors, as well as creative exercises to perfect their student’s – and their own – swing. Participants will practice identifying not only what a breakdown of form looks like, but what may be causing it and how to correct it.
Step-by-step progressions to more complex exercises such as the windmill and Turkish Get-up will be covered, along with tips for teaching these movements, equipping participants to use these movements with clients and students of all fitness levels. Participants will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their own movements, as well as gain practical experience instructing. Finally, creative workout ideas will be shared in order for instructors and trainers to be able to incorporate their new skills into fun, exciting classes or one-on-one sessions for group exercise students and personal training clients of varying goals and abilities.
