Curriculum Sharing and Certification Exam

As a NETA Educational Partner, colleges and universities, community colleges, vocational schools and in some cases high schools, may use NETA’s Personal Trainer Certification curriculum, at no charge, for the purpose of educating students and preparing them as candidates for the NETA-CB Personal Trainer Certification Exam.  The certification is accredited by the NCCA which is considered to be the “gold standard” in the fitness industry. The curriculum is user friendly and easy to follow. Materials include: Power Point presentations, On-line Modules, Student Outline, and Sample Quizzes. The organization may also host the NETA certification exam on their campus providing even more savings for the students. In addition NETA also has a Group Exercise Certification and a Wellness Coach Specialty Certification available for this program.

Students will be offered a discount on the exam-only fee to register for NETA’s Personal Trainer Certification exam administered at a Comira/PSI Testing Centers.

Students will also receive a discount on NETA study materials.

 

Special Collegiate Events

NETA provides special Collegiate Fitness events designed for college students. The events are usually held through campus recreation centers all across the U.S. These fun and innovative programs are designed to keep participants on the the cutting edge of our industry. NETA Fit Fest continues to earn rave reviews for bringing fitness professionals together in the perfect environment to learn, collaborate and even play. Students will have the opportunity of choosing certification workshops, specialty certifications and continuing education workshops all on one weekend.

 

High School Seniors Programs

NETA has developed a program to assist high school seniors begin a career in the fitness industry. NETA will grant high school teachers permission to use NETA’s Personal Trainer Certification Workshop materials, at no charge, for the purpose of educating students and preparing them as candidates for the NETA-CB Personal Trainer Certification Exam. Materials include: Power Point presentations, Student Outline, and Sample Quizzes.
