Understanding Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Oct 1012:00 PM—1:00 PM$24.00
Heart rate variability (HRV) is a biological marker of how well the autonomic nervous system is working, and is an indicator of physiological health and risk of chronic disease. Understanding the importance of a well-functioning autonomic nervous system and how to decrease risk of chronic disease is an important tool for fitness professionals to better reach participants and clients. This one-hour workshop will differentiate between heart rate measurements and variability and provide an understanding of the importance of this biological marker.
Participants in this workshop must have access to a device capable of connecting to a Zoom meeting, to include a functioning webcam and mic.
*Virtual workshops are held in Central Time Zone
